The client/server software architecture is a versatile architecture that improves flexibility and scalability. A client is defined as a requester of services and a server is defined as the provider of services. A single machine can be both a client and a server depending on the software configuration. Credit Card Processing:

SPIC Retail Solution has a direct links to Merchant Warehouse, Mercury Payment Systems (MPS) and PayPros. We believe in giving you the ability to choose the most cost effective processing solution. This eliminates the need to purchase additional programs and provides a seamless integration. Partnering with Merchant Warehouse, Mercury or Paypros saves you money.

OPOS Peripheral Device Support:

SPIC Retail Solution can use any supported device that has an OPOS Driver. The OPOS drivers allow SPIC Retail Solution to work with cash drawers, receipt printers and label printers that are not specifically listed in our device definition files. This allows users who migrate to SPIC Retail Solution from different or older POS systems to use their existing equipment if the equipment is supported by OPOS drivers.
